In a rare and joyful moment, conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel, both 34, appeared smiling alongside Abby’s husband, Joshua Bowling, in his new Facebook profile picture.

The trio—united since Abby and Joshua’s wedding in 2021—captured the happy outdoor selfie during a crisp fall evening.

Joshua recently uploaded the photo of himself with his wife Abby and her twin sister Brittany to Facebook, giving the public a new glimpse of the closely bonded family.

The Hensel twins, formerly the stars of a TLC reality show, have mostly stayed out of the spotlight in recent years—especially since Abby’s wedding, a private event where Brittany, dressed in white, did not appear as an official witness.

Clips from their discreet Minnesota ceremony at the Jerome Events Center surfaced online earlier this year and quickly went viral, attracting a wave of negative commentary on TikTok.

Some critics questioned the nature of the relationship, citing that the sisters are conjoined and share parts of their anatomy, including genitalia.

In response to the backlash, the sisters took to social media with a firm statement:

“To all the haters: If you don’t like what I do but watch everything I post — you’re still a fan.”

Abby and Brittany, who have drawn over 30 million views across social platforms with videos showing their day-to-day lives, are no strangers to both admiration and criticism online.

The twins, who have individual heads but share one body — including a torso, internal organs, and circulatory system — first gained public attention on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1996.

Brittany controls the left side of their body, while Abby controls the right.

In 2012, they starred in a TLC reality show that ran for one season, following their journey through college and into adulthood.

Today, they live a relatively low-profile life in Minnesota, where they teach fourth- and fifth-grade students.
